One Family's Tragedy. Hundreds of Lives Transformed.
In 2006, a farmer's suicide changed one boy's life forever. That boy grew up to build a home for children who had nowhere to go.
Our Story, Chapter by Chapter

When Everything Changed.
Prasad Mohite lost his father to farmer suicide caused by overwhelming agricultural debt — a tragedy that thousands of rural Maharashtra families continue to face. The weight of that day never left him.

A Promise
No child should ever experience what I did.
That grief became a compass. Prasad dedicated his life to ensuring other children would never know the destitution and helplessness he had felt at such a young age.
The Journey
"We had already chosen her name."
Their daughter passed away shortly after birth. They donated her body to medical science.
Instead of letting grief consume them…
They named their foundation after her — so that her memory would live in every child who found shelter here.
